Explore Berlin Road Preserve
Distance: 1.5 mile, with options for more
Difficulty: Fairly easy
Hike Leader: Dana Williams
Where: Meet at the top of the road, all the way at the western entrance of the WRLF Loop Trail.
Join our WRL Programs Coordinator Dana for an interpretive hike to explore the Berlin Road Preserve. We’ll hike approximately 1.5 miles through a Beech and Oak forest, visiting Haley Brook and upland habitat. We’ll discuss forest health and forestry along the way. Hiking poles are recommended.
- Wear sturdy shoes, as there are roots and rocks
- Dogs are fine, on leash, and kids are, too, but loose
- Torrential rain cancels, but a drizzle makes for a lovely walk
