Join butterfly enthusiast and former Williamstown Rural Lands (WRL) executive director, Leslie Reed-Evans, for a Butterfly Walk up and around the meadows and wetlands of Sheep Hill.
Taking place on Friday, August 13 at noon at the WRL Center in Williamstown, participants will learn about the habitats and lives of the varied butterfly families that make the Berkshires their summer home including Monarchs and other Brush-footed butterflies, Swallowtails, Gossamer Wing, Skippers, and Sulphurs. Reed-Evans will also specify butterfly-friendly plants you can add to your garden to attract both nectaring adults and their caterpillars. Binoculars and sturdy walking shoes recommended.
