Bee Hill and Flora’s Glen via Fitch Trail
Distance: ~4 miles
Difficulty: Moderate / strenuous

Climb initially up open fields to Bee Hill Road, then through mixed woodlands on the Fitch Trail to the high point of Bee Hill, passing some extraordinary old Sugar Maples along the way. Descend through hemlock groves to the RRR Brooks Trail, returning along Flora’s Glen Brook to the remains of an old mill pond on Bee Hill Rd.
Round trip is approximately 4 miles, some initial strenuous climbing to Bee Hill, then a moderate descent to Bee Hill Road. Meet at the Rural Lands main office (671 Cold Spring Road Williamstown, MA) at 9am.
- Dress for the expected weather conditions.
- Wear sturdy shoes or boots.
- Bring water to drink and snacks.
- Dogs are welcome on leash.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
