Flora’s Glen

We begin by climbing up the “Rosenburg Ramble” trail on Sheep Hill to Bee Hill Rd., and then enter the Fitch Memorial Woodlands to follow the Fitch Trail up to the top of Bee Hill. (The steep parts of the trail come early.) From there it’s downhill, down the Fitch Trail into Flora’s Glen, then down the RRR Brooks Trail, following Flora’s Glen Brook, to the trailhead at Bee Hill Rd. Then 10-15 minutes’ walk back up Bee Hill Rd. to a big view of Stone Hill and the Hopper, and down the Rosenburg Ramble to our starting point. Total: about 4 miles.
Meet at 9 am at the Sheep Hill office of Williamstown Rural Lands (671 Cold Spring Rd.). Before we begin the hike, we can arrange a brief car pool for anyone interested in bypassing the steep Sheep Hill ascent.
