Our first Guided Hike of 2021!
We begin by climbing up the “Rosenburg Ramble” trail on Sheep Hill to Bee Hill Rd., and then take the Fitch Trail up to the top of Bee Hill. (The steep parts of the trail come early.) From there it’s downhill, down the Fitch Trail into Flora’s Glen, then down the RRR Brooks Trail, following Flora’s Glen Brook, to the trailhead at Bee Hill Rd. Then 10-15 minutes’ walk back up Bee Hill Rd. to a big view of Stone Hill and the Hopper, and down the Rosenburg Ramble to our starting point. Total: about 4 miles.
Meet at 9 am at the Sheep Hill office of Williamstown Rural Lands (671 Cold Spring Rd.). Wear sturdy shoes or boots. Bring your own water and tick repellent. Bring a mask in case we are unable to maintain social distance. No need to sign up. Just show up. Rain cancels.
