Petersburg Road > Bob’s Ski Loop > Buxton Ravine
Distance: 4.0 miles
Difficulty: Moderately strenuous
Hike Leader: Jefferson Strait
This fun loop hike packs a lot of variety. Beginning within walking distance of the center of town, we will walk up Petersburg Road to where the houses end and then hike along the abandoned Old Petersburg Road, passing through meadows and open woods. We will pause at the picnic table with panoramic views, then head into the woods on Bob’s Ski Loop and hike down the Buxton Ravine Trail. Finally we will cross Buxton Brook. Your feet may get wet, but we will be back at the trailhead.
