Stewardship Day: Money Brook Bridge Repair

When

06/20/2021
10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Where

Hopper Road Trailhead
1033 Hopper Road, Williamstown, MA

Edit 6/19/21: No more space available. WORKDAY IS FULL.

If a tree falls in the woods, and nobody sees it break a bridge, did it break the bridge? Yes, absolutely. Help us as we prepare to rebuild the bridge along the Money Brook Cutoff Trail. Work involves hiking while carrying lumber, disassembling a 25-ft bridge, and may include standing in shallow moving water. 1-3 miles of hiking on easy to moderate terrain in total (depending on how many trips it takes to move materials). All tools will be provided. Please bring your own water, lunch, work gloves and mask. We will meet in the parking lot at the end of Hopper Road. RSVP Required.

This workday features two shifts:
First shift: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Second shift: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Participation will be limited to 6 participants.
