Sensory Nature Walk

Have you ever felt a Turkey Tail? Tasted a black birch? Looked for patterns in ice? Come celebrate New Years’ eve and explore Hemlock Brook through touch, taste, sight, sound and smell on this easy, slow-paced 1 mile walk. All ages welcome, but content will be geared towards families. Please leave furred friends (except service animals) at home. 

Parking at Margaret Lindley Park (1201 Cold Spring Rd., Williamstown). There is a medium-sized dirt parking lot with some potholes. There are no bathrooms or indoor spaces at this site.

Please check the weather before arriving and bring appropriate clothing (warm, non-cotton layers). Cramp-ons or hiking poles are recommended in case of ice on the trails. This event is on a property closed to hunting.
