There are many predators lurking in the forest but who is the scariest of them all? The Gruffalo, of course! Follow along with Mouse’s journey to trick Fox, Owl and Snake while you take a 0.3 mile out-and-back stroll under the hemlocks along the brook. The audience for this book are 5 – 8 year olds, but the story is fun for all ages!
This story will be available throughout the month of June. The walk begins at the far end of the swimming area at Margaret Lindley Park (opposite end from the parking lot).
Location: Margaret Lindley Park/Hemlock Brook (1201 Cold Spring Rd., Williamstown)

What is a StoryWalk?
A StoryWalk consists of pages of a picture book attached to signs and spread out along a walking path for families to follow. StoryWalks provide opportunities for children to practice reading, listening and speaking skills while encouraging them to explore and learn about nature.
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
