Vacation Programs
Four day nature programs for Grades K-4
February Vacation, Feb 21-24, 1 – 4 pm
$120/members, $145/non-members
What do animals do in winter? Kids will answer this question and more as they explore, wonder and imagine animals’ lives after the snow falls through storytelling, crafts, hiking, tracking and outdoor play.
April Vacation, April 17-21, 1 – 5 pm
$160/members, $190/non-members
Let’s celebrate spring at Sheep Hill! Kids will observe, discover and act out the dramas of spring as animals and plants are waking up from winter. Imaginative storytelling, nature crafts, hiking, shelter building, scientific investigations and more.
Woodchuck Wednesdays
5 week, 1 day after school program for Grades 1-4
3:30 – 5 pm
$75/members, $90/non-members
Spring Woodchucks – April 5, 12, 26, May 3, 10
Fall Woodchucks – September 20, 27, October 4, 11, 18 – waitlist open!
Get outside and explore nature through unstructured outdoor play, including shelter building, hikes, pond investigations and more!
Summer Programs
Five day nature programs in July, 9 am – 1 pm
$200/members, $240 non-members
Session I – July 10 – 14, ages 5-7, Sheep Hill Scientists
Come be a scientist at Sheep Hill! Kids will learn to think, observe and wonder about nature just like scientists do through explorative play, imaginative storytelling, crafting experiments, and nature games.
Session II – July 17 – 21, ages 7-10, Sheep Hill Pathfinders
Ever wondered what it was like to be a forester, a scientist, or a farmer? Come find out at Sheep Hill! Kids will explore different ways that people live with the land, both historically and today, including meeting local community members who do these jobs.
