Fall Hike at Pine Cobble
When: November 19, 9:30 am
Where: Pine Cobble Trailhead (Pine Cobble Rd. off of N Hoosac Rd., Williamstown)
Distance & Difficulty: 3.2 miles, moderate/strenuous (out & back, 1.6 mi each way)
Come learn about the unique ecology of Pine Cobble – an uncommon fire adapted ecosystem – and about the changes that prepare animals and plants for winter. Enjoy expansive views from the top of Williamstown, North Adams and the Hoosac and Taconic Ranges.
Please note that although it is hunting season, this hike will be on Sunday when hunting is not allowed. Leashed dogs welcome.
